BATTERY ADDITIVES
Additives for Lead Acid Batteries

Lead acid batteries are one of the key components for cars. Without a battery the car cannot get started and some safety systems will not operate.
Nowadays with the implementation of fuel saving systems which lead to significant reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, battery performance becomes much more important as in the past.
Start/stop technology and regenerative braking were giving some new tasks for automotive batteries like charging/discharging at different states of charge as well as an improved high current charge acceptance and more cycle life.
Therefore positive and negative active materials have to follow these new requirements and battery producer are forced to adjust their active materials according to new specifications given by the car manufacturers.
PARSIS COMMERCE as a partner of battery industry recognized these technical changes and started to develop some additives which help to meet the new specifications. In the first step PARSIS was focusing on the improvement of positive active material by delivering an additive which controls the crystal size of positive active material especially if it was passing curing at elevated temperatures. Later on PARSIS developed some expander mixes for the negative active material to improve the ability to take high currents during regenerative braking.
Today using modern paste and plate manufacturing technologies, battery additives produced by our manufacturer offer an added value to the battery manufacturer and will support all battery types amongst them robust design batteries as well as AGM- and GEL-type batteries.

Their new Expander Mix types are as follows:

PE 100 Expander mix types for standard SLI batteries
PE 200 Expander mix types for AGM and Gel-type batteries
PE 300 Expander mix types for industrial batteries
