Everything you need Know

A fire brick, firebrick, fireclay brick, or refractory brick is a block of ceramic material used in lining furnaces, kilns, fireboxes, and fireplaces. Made of primarily oxide materials like silica and alumina in varying ratios,[1] these insulating materials are able to withstand extremely high temperatures, and have a low thermal conductivity for greater energy efficiency. Refractory bricks generally range from 25-45% alumina, and ~60% silica, with additional magnesium, calcium, potassium oxides.

Usually dense fire bricks are used in applications with extreme mechanical, chemical, or thermal stresses, such as the inside of a wood-fired kiln or a furnace, which is subject to abrasion from wood, fluxing from ash or slag, and high temperatures. In other, less harsh situations, such as in an electric or natural gas fired kiln, more porous bricks, commonly known as “kiln bricks”, are a better choice. They are weaker, but they are much lighter and easier to form and insulate far better than dense bricks. In any case, firebricks should not spall, and their strength should hold up well during rapid temperature changes.

We offer a wide range of fire bricks in different sizes, thicknesses, and dimensions to suit individual projects. Whether you are upgrading your fireplace, constructing a kiln, or lining an industrial furnace, Vitcas products provide unmatched performance.

Refractories for  Regenerator

Parsis Commerce DIS TIC has been pioneering the use of high purity refractories based on Fused Mullite for regenerators for more then forty years. Today Parsis Commerce DIS TIC offers a wide rage of Mullite / Andalusite based refractories with exhibits high volume stability, high thermal shock resistance , low thermal, expansion and high refractoriness. In addition to above characteristics, Fused Mullite based PCREF WHF refractory, demonstrates excellent creep resistance and alkali resistance, which is an important factor for attaining longer campaign life in excess 10 years. Part neck arches in PCREF WHF have given life on more than two campaigns( < 16 years ) in container glass furnace and hence can be considered as a cost effective substitute for AZS fusion cast refractories for this

Refractories
for Melter

Parsis commerce DIS TIC recommends PCREFZON range of products for sub paving and melter superstructure. PCREFZON refractories being made with high purity zircon minerals exhibit high refractoriness , chemical stability, lead bearing capacity and corrosion resistance against molten glass.
Parsis Commerce DIS TIC recommends PCREFCOZITE range of products made put of high purity fused grains for areas that encounter alkaline vapour attack and thermal shock.
For furnaces having temperature exceeding 1650 C in the melter crown, fused mullite based refractory PCREF WHF is recommended for its low creep and chemical stability.

Refractories for
Distributor & Fore heath

For Distributor and Fore hearth covers,Parsis Commerce DIS TIC recommends PCREFLITE range of refractories due to good resistance against alkali vapour, very good thermal shock resistance and low creep.Manufacturing large and complex shapes are Parsis Commerce s unique strength.
For borosilicate furnaces, PCREFCZITE range of refractories are recommended to withstand higher corrosion.
Parsis Commerce DIS TIC manufactures and supplies complete range of feeder expendables with technical know-how from DFC Thermal Ceramics,UK.
